No Reflection *ANGUS*

Woke up this morning, crawled out of bed
Looked in the mirror, my face full of dread
What's going on here, why don't I feel right?
Did something occur while I slept last night?

Vague memories fading in and out of my mind
Brain overloading as I struggle to rewind
Why can't I remember what happened to me?
Too fuzzy to look back, much too tired to see

Climb down the steps and I step towards the door
Looking at faces that I've never seen before
Strangers appearing, walking by without a glance
Strangers ignoring me, as though all in a trance
Why don't they acknowledge me?

Frustrated deeply, I stalk through the town
Watching the people walking up and down
As I turn to talk to a man that passes by
I see no reflection, no evidence in his eyes

Strangers appearing, walking by without a glance

Walk to my apartment, fumbling with the key
Enter the room and turn on the TV
They talk of a car crash, 3 young men left dead
Pondering their fate, I slip into my bed
