A list of fire departments in World Trade Center Tower #2 By: Ramses

Yea, this may have happened a long time ago but I like to take the time every now and again to remember. Not to pray just for those that ran into the burning buildings or the flight crews and passnegers on the airlines but for all of them. I do pray for them and the loved ones they left behind.

I've been doing alot of surfing on the net about 9/11. I know people have their own beliefs as to WHAT hit the towers or WHAT made them collapse, I don't want to get into that.

This is just a list of Fire Departments that were in World Trade Center Tower Number 2, just moments before the tower came down. The list is from "102 Minutes that Changed America." I decided to put the list in some kind of order.

Battalion, 10, 11 and 12

Division: 3

Engine: 22, 23, 40, 41, 44, 47, 53, 58, 74, 76, 91, 209, 211, 212, 214, 216, 217, 220, 221, 229, 230, 235, 238, 279

High Rise: 1

Ladder: 2, 4, 7, 11, 12, 13, 16, 21, 22, 24, 25, 35 and 118.

I was shocked just to see the number of departments in one building and just thought of sharing it. A friend of mine arrived at work late that day (very unusual for him), he could see flames where his office used to be. He lost a great many of his co-workers and friends that day.

About six years prior to the tragic events on that day I went to his office. I still remember the multiple elevator ride and I remember it seemed like a large mall in some parts and just different businesses on the levels. It reminded me of a city just going strait up.

How it changed my life:

The real tragedy in life is NOT learning from history. Those that do not learn history are doomed to repeat it!

Date: 11/3/2010 1:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 42703    The buildings were like their own citys in the the fact that both towers had their own zip code (or so that's what I've heard) thanks for the reminder, & I think the media should remind everyone more often about what happend..it would keep everyone aware that just cause we live in America doesn't mean we are immune to attacks.
