I remember back in 2002 when texts cost .10 to recieve and spend. It was my moms and dad phone, but I was texting a girl I liked at the time, and ran up a $400 phone bill. Luckily my parents got that charge erased by explaining it to them. Now luckily we got free texting lol. |

...my kids don't know the meaning of the word. I do attempt to get them to understand but somehow, they seem to lack comprehension in this area. |

First off "Down With Texting" and the reason I say this is a) It costs more, people say they have unlimited texts but they usually pay $20+ dollars for that service. b) Think of it this way had Bell or Grey invented the text service first just think how amazed you would be that you would be able to talk and hear the person directly. After all that is why we go away from the telegraph.... Adn to Aussie Girl-Good for you, you have taught him a valuable lesson. "There will be heck to pay if you don't watch your self." |

Date: 8/29/2010 7:22:00 PM From Authorid: 55533 I just do chores for my parents so they won't have to work hard at maintaining the house. I didn't realize kids had to be paid to do things around the house. That is neat though, usually others I've read about get hit if they didn't do their chores. |
Date: 9/1/2010 2:24:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 26303 I don't actually like paying them for doing chores around the house. No one pays me, it's just part of living in a home. But it's an incentive, and a learning curve I guess. Hit? No way, yell yes, send them to their room yes, but hit, NO! |
