Last night I dreamt of meeting a woman who had cancer. The treatment made her really sick. She started to vomit in her hands and pass it over to her friend who would get rid of it. The way they were doing it was just like it was an everyday occurence. I remember that I wanted to help, but didn't know how. All of a sudden the friend was overloaded, and I had to help get rid of her vomit. That's when things got really weird. I was pouring it down the sink, with hot water running. But, I could smell it! The smell was sooooooo strong, and I started to dry reach, as you do, I just kept dry reaching. It was at this point that my hubby woke me up, asking if I was okay. I tried to go back to sleep, but could taste vomit. I must've actually had a little one, then swallowed again. Ewwww, I know. Anyway, before I told hubby about the dream, he said I was making weird noises and strange movements. Was one very vivid dream, I hope to never have again. Thought I may have had it cos I was with my friend who is fighting cancer yesterday. She has been fighting for 5 years this time round, and we all just take it in our stride. But she doesn't vomit, only has bad headaches. But assume, the way the friend handled the vomit in the 'oh, so natural' way, is because of how we treat our friend.
