@}~~ WOW, that must have been very scary. I have been "held down" while fully awake and with my husband in the room as he was saying, "Joan, look over there, can you see her?" I couldn't turn my head, or eyes or even speak and when the spirit was gone I was able to move. As for being "hit" with something like you were, no, thankfully I haven't and I hope you don't ever feeel that again.  |

Kelly I was going to suggest the sleep REM thing but I read on and it sounds like you already have considered that. Still it is possible that it is related to that. Otherwise I have no idea unless you have a poltergeist  |

This house is 7 years old and we have lived in it for almost 2 years..we are the 3rd owners of the house which isn't unheard of, but a little unusual for a newer house. |

I have had that happen to me a couple of times, to be honest. It felt real, and I know I felt it.. I just cannot explain how it happened. I chalk it up to a mischievous spirit of some kind. It doesn't happen often enough for me to be concerned, so I give it up, to some deceased family member trying to get my attention.  |

After thinking about it more I think it must have been a dream, but I have to admit I was freaked out last night. My oldest daughter worked late, my youngest spent the night at someones house and My husband is now finally in Afghanastan (been there since Sunday or so), so the house was very quiet and very lonely! I read so late I had a headache, I slept with the tv on and heard no noises and thankfully nothing hit me! |

It was probably just a dream. Ive had dreams where I fall or get hit or something like that. I can feel pain in the spot where it happened. It sont last long though.  |

You can get dried sage bundles on line or in some religious stores. Check out one of the sites like Paranormal State or Ghost Hunters. The Ghost Hunters don't usually get rid of thing, but Paranormal State does. You should be able to find out more about it there... |

very scary, something similar would happen to me. I would dream that someone would sit on my right leg, the pressure would be so intense that I would wake up pushing away what was apparently sitting on my leg. The scary thing was that when I actually got up in the mornings, that part of my leg would be in terrible pain!!! Very scary.  |
