My mouth is on fire!

Dude! I swear I could breathe out fire right now!

I was trying to make spaghetti, right? Well I was frying the hamburger and then was going to sprinkle a bit of pepper on it. No sooner as I shake the thing once, when the darn lid popped right off and a whole friggen crap load of pepper went in my hamburger!

So as I was screaming inside my brain, I was trying to convince myself that it was no big deal that the sauce will calm it down, right?........

NOPE!

My mouth is burning up from it! I tried calming it down with parmesean cheese, ketchup, and sugar but that appear not to help..

Any suggestions?

Or maybe I could get an act in the circus for being the first fire breathing lady...

Date: 6/16/2010 5:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 63846    Fire extinguishers DON'T help mouth burns. I'd go with the circus or even becoming a carnie.

Date: 6/16/2010 5:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 10245    milk or sour cream will help put out the fire in your mouth, but they aren't nearly as much fun as the circus
Date: 6/16/2010 6:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 12876    i would suggest draining the sauce off the meat with a colander and rinsing it off them readding fresh sauce without pepper
Date: 6/16/2010 7:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 28848    buahaha. This reminds me, the other day I was eating pepperonci peppers which are super hot, and my son decided to take an "adorable" pic of me with my mouth on fire. Yeah it's a great pic lol.
Date: 6/16/2010 7:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 30097    Chocolate. Pop a piece of milk/dark chocolate in your mouth
Date: 6/16/2010 7:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 15228    LOL smooth...I guess this is to late, but you can rinse your hamburger before adding it to the sauce.
Date: 6/16/2010 8:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 14464    milk will cool your mouth best and next time pour the spice in the palm of your hand then pinch in what you need. As for trying to fix the food you've already made, I do think there is much hope there
Date: 6/16/2010 10:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 63366    Next time scoop off the pepper before adding sauce.
Date: 6/17/2010 1:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 53284    Milk
Date: 6/17/2010 9:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 14314    Eat salt, that works for me
Date: 6/18/2010 5:11:00 AM  From Authorid: 16865    Beer. Seriously. Rinse your mouth in beer first like you would with mouthwash. SPIT. Then rinse with milk to sooth. SPIT. Repeat until burning stops. The darker the beer the better. You don't need guiness though. Sam Adams works fine.
Date: 6/19/2010 2:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 42945    So how did you put out the fire Scoobs??
Date: 6/19/2010 3:13:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 43015    drank lots of milk and quit eating =P
