it grates on my nerves when i see the warnings. i don't care for storms. the worst i have ever been in was when i was about 11 or 12 i was out with my aunt and a few cousins and we were in a tornado. it knocked the car all over the road. |

the craziest one i've seen is sunny with a chance of fire.. it was a hot hot day was checking the weather website and it showed the sun, with a cloud, with a fire... usually the warnings around here are wind warnings |

I watched the tornado coming straight for my trailer. It was nearly upon me before I went into the house to take cover with my young children, who were already in shelter. It was the sound of a freight train going through my living room, and was as black as midnight while only being 3 in the afternoon. Baseball sized hail made an awful racket on the trailer's tin roof, breaking through the windows with ease and landing on my carpet.. scary as ever and glad its behind me now. But I still love thunder and lightning on rainy days! I take tornado threats more seriously now, however. |

I love it. My brother got hit hard last night. We didn't get anything at all. I want to see baseball sized hail and a tornado. |

Oh it's been crazy here too in Northern Ohio. It just doesn't rain it's been an all out downpour. Like a waterfall hitting your car. I guessed I missed a doozy while I was asleep too. I only get excited if I'm sitting at home not driving in it. I like seeing out the windshield lol |

What is the craziest weather I have seen? It was here in Sydney Australia I woke up one morning to the room filled with red, I thought I was having a crazy dream so I went back to sleep. Then my bf came in and said "honey have you noticed that the whole sky is red?" and I was like "So I am not dreaming?" I immedently got out off bed and turned on the news, my first thought was there was a massive fire near by, but the news could tell me if it is or is not. Then as soon as I turned on the tv, there was reports off how a storm from centural australia had blown red dust up to NSW! People with breathing probblems like ashma were advised to stay in doors, due to dust flying everywhere, and the city and everywhere had this erie red sky, and everyones cars were covered in red dust, my bf complained about this as he left for work that morning. I took pictures! People thought it was the apocolypse but I thought it was cool!!! lol. |

I was living in Texas and the tornado was like a mile from our house, the girls took the babies to the shelter but the rest of us stayed on the front porch, it was like way cool, I don't know how high the winds were, but ya had to hold on to the porch poles to keep from being blown off. My son dave aka demonslayer would be a storm chaser if he could, he loves a good storm. The is one of the reasons I miss texas. Wacked out weather. |

I love severe weather too. I slept through Hurricane Hugo years ago. I was really upset that no one woke me up. |

I was in washington state and seen the following weather all in a matter of hours: woke up to cold & snow, then it got warm & rained with hail, got foggy, then towards the evening it cooled off again and the sun came out. |

I have a basement so tornadoes don't bother me much. What always bothered me were the fire hazards in Texas, one came within reach of my daughters school which was evacuated. Several years ago we were driving through Oklahoma when they were having all sorts of grass fire out-breaks. There was a wild fire raging along the interstate with a house on fire...they closed the road thankfully AFTER we passed. |
