Recently I visited a large Asian market. I strolled down the isles looking at all the rice cookers and woks. What I didn’t expect to see was a whole large wall of Titanium products. Not any kind of appliance or spatulas, but wrist bands, head bands and other titanium containing products.
I picked up a couple of them and read some of the verbiage on the back of the packaging. It sounded like hype and jive, so I put them back and thought .. I will just look on the internet for more info.
Titanium bracelets, belts, necklaces and other Titanium products are believed to relieve back pain, headache, sore necks, painful joints, safely and quickly. These products use titanium to realign your body's natural bio-electrical impulses, helping circulation and preventing pain. Supposedly these items are used by major athletes and fans everywhere.
So do you think these are just the latest fad, or might they really do anything? They were a bit pricey so it would seem like they should work or people wouldn't fall for the idea.
I thought that, until I thought of a friend of a friend who had titanium screws and a small plate put in their leg after having it shattered by a bad accident. I asked my friend if their friend had reduced pain after the titanium additions to her life. The reply was 'No'. In fact after the accident there has been constant leg pain, along with occasional migraines.
This would indicate that it didn't work for this one person at least. Do you have any experiences with titanium products or others that work to reduce pain?
