Do you know what town your father died in? You could contact the funeral homes in the area and they will have record of where he was buried and they will have other information that could possibly help you. You could also search obituaries that should contain a lot of information. |

I can't think of anything else besides what Kelly suggested, besides asking your grandparents all the questions you want to know and letting them know how important it is to you. How you really want to know and it has been on your mind. I wish you good luck in your endeavors. |

If you know where you were born, you should go to the Courthouse or where ever else you would go to find your birth certificate.Perhaps you might could use this to begin your search for more information. |

Public records should be able to help if you know where he was living when he passed. Obituary records can help pin point location too! |

I thought there was a national death records database that could put you in touch with wherever he died. IDK! |

Hi guys! I'm so sorry it took me so long to respond!!! My internet has been a little weird today. (Facebook was some forbidden German page today for quite awhile.) I'm definitely going to do everything you guys suggested. I'm not sure about the birth certificate thing, tho, because I have mine sitting in front of me right now and it has my adoptive parents names on it, not my birth parents. Someone did get in touch with me though and is helping me find him. So far we believe we have his birth date and the day he died and where he was living when he died, but thats as far as we have gotten. You get so far in the search and then they want money. :/ Thank you so much! |

If it's money that is at issue then all that is required is to find another daddy: a 'sugar' daddy! jk |
