Date: 4/5/2010 2:17:00 PM From Authorid: 27414 I had one but it was so long ago I don't remember how long it took. I know it hurt like crazy for quite some time. |
Date: 4/5/2010 2:21:00 PM From Authorid: 20497 i know they hurt like heck and take forever to heal! GOOD LUCK :O) |
Date: 4/5/2010 2:46:00 PM From Authorid: 23075 Firstly I hope it will heal quick, but I know from experience it takes a LOOOOOONG time, secondly, he had no right punching you anywhere....It's assault, and I hope you will have him charged. |
Date: 4/5/2010 3:21:00 PM From Authorid: 37150 Did they give you one of those inflatable inner tube looking things to sit on? I remember my high school English teacher broke hers and they can't cast it or anything. I wish you a speedy recovery! |
Date: 4/5/2010 3:29:00 PM From Authorid: 53284 The only advice that I've got for you is to dump your boyfriend. He's the cause of the pain and he will continue to hurt you as long as you stay with him. |
Date: 4/5/2010 4:28:00 PM From Authorid: 42945 OMG Leana dear, he punched you there?? I damaged mine many years ago and though it took what seemed to be a very longgggggggggggg time to heal, I still have problems with it. I wonder how your guy would like his broken? hope you had him charged with assault, next time it might be your neck!! |
Date: 4/5/2010 7:43:00 PM From Authorid: 2335 You should punch him in the coccyx. It will make you feel better. Then quickly join the marine corps so he can't find you. |

Firstly: Coccyx Fracture - depends on what the fracture actually entails. However, its a fracture that unlike most other bone fractures is not something that can be isolated/braced in any real way...which means a bit of a lengthy recovery period unfortunately. If you're not a Pill type person, then I'd be looking towards other pain-management techniques as Acupuncture, heated oils or vibration focussed soft tissue massage and the like. Secondly: I'm hoping the 'ex' bit of the 'Ex-boyfriend' came about after he punched and pushed you? If he's still in the picture - ditch him. Next thing he breaks may well be your neck. Peace. |
Date: 4/5/2010 11:34:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 29534 Thank you all for your replies. He is an ex, I filed charges, and there is an arrest warrant that was issued on March 31st, they just haven't picked him up yet and there is a no contact order. I did leave after that. |
Date: 4/5/2010 11:40:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 29534 My family especially the men, are very angry, and my brother is the only one who thinks clearly once he has calmed down, and he told all of them, if anyone has a right to beat him up, its me, no one else and that its best to let the system take care of it. My dad said well then I can hold him down and she can beat his backside with a hammer and see how well he likes it. Thank God for my brother. I told my Dad it wasn't worth it for me to go to jail too, and besides that I hurt too bad for that. |
Date: 4/5/2010 11:54:00 PM From Authorid: 63962 It sounds like homeslice has some anger issues that you need to tell him he needs to deal with or you're hittin the road. LOL |
Date: 4/5/2010 11:57:00 PM From Authorid: 63962 Nevermind...I hadn't read your responses before I posted that. LOL Good for you, that you left his sorry butt! LOL |
Date: 4/6/2010 11:03:00 AM From Authorid: 14754 you might want to buy a donut to sit on and ice it, i know it takes a long time to heal, and take Motrin too. that will help a bit. |
Date: 4/6/2010 5:21:00 PM From Authorid: 11097 Hi there first I hope you start feeling better real soon. For your pain I would take motrin if painkillers are not available or don't agree with you. Ice, baths, and if you can physical therapy. Everyone suggested great ideas. Now, I want you to know you deserve better then this and in order to heal inside and out its time to stand up for yourself and get away from him. Feel better and take care of yourself |
Date: 4/6/2010 9:39:00 PM From Authorid: 15394 well since I read your reply and you already dumped his sorry behind, I won't go into that And might I say good for you!! Glad that you have your head on straight where he is concerned... as for the bottom issue, you may find relief to sit on an inflatable ring to be sure there isn't any pressure on it.. there really isn't much you can do for it. Nice hot bath is soothing... my best to you, I hope you heal quickly! |
Date: 4/7/2010 8:11:00 PM From Authorid: 48809 Leana, I know how painful something like this can be. I have a fractured spine or which is also called a broken back. I have Osteoporosis and this happened 1 and 1/2 years ago. It is better than it was but unfortunately , there are many things that I can no longer do ....I can not run the sweeper or make a bed by myself ...other than to just spread the bedspread ...because I cannot lean over too far or put hardly any weight on my back. I would not be able to do as much as I do if I did not have the Spirit Drs. to help me. Call upon them and keep up with it until you get the help you need. You can also call on the LIGHT and visualize the LIGHT shining on the part of your body that needs your attention, keep the LIGHT on your painful spot for several minutes...then do this every day until you either get a healing or even just take the pain down where it is not so painful . No one can guarantee what LIGHT will do for you but you are sure to get some help ! I hope everyone that reads this post will say a healing prayer for you. Please do not say that you don't believe this can work for you because if you don't believe that this can work ...then it won't. Good Luck hon! |
Date: 4/11/2010 1:28:00 PM From Authorid: 16865 I broke mine in 6th grade. hurt like crazy too! Sorry you have to experience it. I found that sitting on one butt cheek and leaning on something helps with the issues. Kind of in a "lounging" position on your side. I also used an inflatable pillow but I still couldn't sit straight on it. I found cool clothes (Not ice) helped some at night. Motrin will help with the swelling. Even at 34, I still have trouble sitting for long periods in one position. By long periods, I mean like an hour. I am so sorry hun. Hopefully you will find some relief. |
Date: 4/17/2010 2:18:00 AM From Authorid: 8817 Yeah I know about broken tail bones. I smashed my pelvis and tailbone in an accient 2 years back. My tailbone still is not healed fully. It is still swollen and because of the break it severed the nerves that run down my legs. It certainly is not a fun break to deal with and I have been told by all my doctors that is never fully heals. All you can really do it sit on softer surfaces and avoind the cold if you can. My hopes are with you. |
