Waw, what a guardian angel !!!! ~Belgian

I didn't know where to post this story, but I felt that this category would do.

I read this story in a paper in the beginning of this week (13th or 14th November). It was a story of a man who loved to go skiing.

Two years ago, he was in Cavalese in Italy for his ski holiday. He gets ready to take the cable lift and go up the mountan. However the cable lift cockpit is full and he has to wait for the next ride. The doors shut right before his nose, there is no way they let him in. A few minutes later, all people in that cockpit are dead ... A jet of the American air force hit the steel cables and the entire cable lift cockpit falls down and crashes 25m below.

23 people (of which 5 Belgians in their twenties) got killed, he was at the foot of the mountan not believing his luck...

Last weekend, he was in Kaprun in Austria for another ski holiday. There were some problems with people who did not know what kind of skis they had to hire, so the group was delayed for about 15 mins. They got to the station, where a mountan train would take them through a tunnel, right to the top of the mountan. They would have a trill skiing down, he was sure of that. However, due to their delay, the train was already packed, and yes, once again he saw the doors being closed right in front of him. A few minutes later, they hear a big bang. The train stops in the middle of the tunnel. 12 people were saved because they could get out of the train and ran downwards instead of upwards. All the ones that managed to get out of the train as well, but ran upwards into the tunnel were sophacated because of the toxic smoke of the burning train.

156 people got killed, he was still alive at the foot of the mountan, not believing his luck ...

Now this guy's guardian angel must be a good one ! Can you imagine being so lucky two time in the same circumstances ? He must be, at this moment, the luckiest guy in Belgium.

It didn't actually. I was only surprised by the co-incidence (although I do not believe in co-incedence). There must have been a higher power which kept him from getting in that train.
