Date: 1/10/2010 9:39:00 AM From Authorid: 11097 Hi Irish Lass, I have watched a lot about this movie and the real story. I sure seem to like to scare myself huh? lol... its a scary story and really no reason for what happened to this boy. I didn't read the book but I read articles about the real story. I will check it out when I'm not alone lol thanks for sharing! |
Date: 1/10/2010 9:39:00 AM From Authorid: 55967 Just watched the first one. I think USM will let it stay up; nothing that bad in it. Great video, though. This is a different angle on the story I read a few years ago. That one was written by a skeptic who pointed out some things that would make the whole thing a trick on Robbie's part. The only things I remember from that story was that in the beginning, Robbie was a pretty "bad" kid, that he would call his friends over to visit him, then hide in the basement and let his dogs out when the kids got there, and laugh as the dogs chased the boys around the yard. He would do other things that I have forgotten, and in order to put the blame for his tricks elsewhere, he pretended he was possessed, bringing up the things he and his aunt discussed before. One other thing this guy said was that the bed Robbie slept in that moved was on wheels, making it much more likely to do so. I'm not saying this guy was right; this video is very interesting and I'm off to watch the other two... |

Date: 1/10/2010 10:22:00 AM From Authorid: 55967 Well, I'm back. Really good! Much more info on it than what I read. The things that Jesuit assistant who was there said make it a pretty convincing story that SOMETHING was going on. Very interesting. I think I'll do more searches on this story. Thanks for the post. Oh yeah, no, I don't know where that story I related could be found on the net. I read that somewhere in a book a while back. Maybe it could be searched. |
