They are probably deleted due to size limits of website, or the fact that they are costing when no action is being taken. I tend to agree with you, but understand why they aren't kept.  |

I'm not sure about this but I think sometimes the light is flashing when there has been a reply added to a post of yours..it has happened to me and whilst I had no message had found a new comment on a post, and an old post at that. The pm's are gradually taken down so that if one is to have a lot of pm's in their profile it can still be there. I can understand why they do have to be removed also..  |

Hmmm Zema I had never that happen, but as the answer to the post I have had that happen after a long period of time not on here, I think it might be glitch because if I don't delete my messages they never go away, from what I have been told the 7 day rule is no longer applies  |

Well I dunno about that Doughboy, my messages are all gone, even some I wanted to keep. Sometimes they'll stay there forever and then one day I'll look and they'll be gone. I had some phone numbers and email addresses in there I wanted to keep and now they're gone. I wish the 7-day rule didn't apply anymore either.   |
