from my nightmares of old
fingers reaching for me
feel so brutally cold

into your dark abyss

your smirk sets off alarm

Cutting words assault
I fall to my knees
laughter cruelly mocks
ignoring my dismal pleas

I feel the scalding heat
the burn in your touch
yielding, ignoring pride
in needing you so much

Hands molest my body
fornication fueled by lust
greedily feeding on my shell
leaving my soul in the dust

My dream lover the incubus
hobgoblin in nightmare
thoughts of you still linger
as I fight sunlight's glare
