Have you ever been just sitting there on your own at a desk or a different piece of furniture, and had the thought going through your mind, "What will happen in the future?" Have you ever done this? If so, you are my friend. For i have thought that very similar thought (in fact, the exact same one!) in my brains. For this thought is one that has come into brains throughout the world. Mostly we're like, "Oh, I'm just sittin on a bus, lookin out the window, at the cars and the people, but you know, i'm in my own little world, not really caring about anything," but one day you know, "BAM!" a bomb goes off and we're like "Hold on a minute, have i really got the time to think this though?" And the final piece that we're missing out on through actually not having the time, well, this actually seems to be the fact that, in the future, there will be no facts.
Yes, for what will be the case as a really lame rule of thumb experimentation threatens is that well, we bain't got a clue what's going to happen in the future. In the future, we might find ourselves on a treadmill in a club doing setting number six for ten minutes. It might be that you are putting your trunks on that you swim in each saturday. Do you see that happening? It could happen... and, though it is not in the scripture, say, portending a nice dip in the pool, or whatever, it is one of the lesser predictions. Your average citizen may just be that much more predisposed to it.
But you might go mad. You might, in the future, wake up and think, "Jesus Christ, Lord of lords, king of kings, and so on, and so forth, i have turned out to be insane; a man of madness; unreason." In the future you might get to this stage and you might wonder why.
But in the future, you might be a king. ... you see? Who even knows whats going to happen in the future. We might end up in a river... we might be river kings, with fish as our companions and some seaweed as a crown. Jesus Christ! We might go 'river mad'. It might turn out that the only thing we value are rivers, and soon, in about a hundred years, rivers will be currency, and we'll have devised a way to carry them round in our jeans.
In the future, of course, we have futuristic things to look forward to. And if one thing is for sure, I'm in two minds as to what those are.
In the future, we'll have digital balloons. There will be either balloons made of digits, or digits in the shape of balloons. Scientists will try to guess which is which. And in about Two thousand one hundred and fifty eight, our new messiah will be born. His name will be Rodger which is really funny name when you think about it. He will be killed by doctors.
