Date: 11/19/2009 4:46:00 PM From Authorid: 61968 Hmmm, seen a lot of scary things, specially over in the sand box, but I guess one thing was that we were living in a prison in Iraq that was converted over to a living quarters for us, and this prison was one of the deadliest ones in Iraq, kinda like Saddams personal killing grounds, anyway, the cell that I was living in, when any of us were alone in it, the other beds would would rattle and move across the floors, and the lights would sometimes flicker only in our cell. It was weird, at first I thought it was me, but I asked my other 2 room mates and they experienced the same things when they were alone in there. Creepy... |

Date: 11/19/2009 6:41:00 PM From Authorid: 64365 when I was about 14 I was sleeping one night, and I was awakened by my bed shaking. It was an old hollywood style pull out bed, and doubled in the daytime as the living room couch. Anyway, the headboard/arm rest was at my head, and when I woke up, I sort of peeked at the source of the shaking and I saw a man standing there bumping his knees repeatedly against the headboard/armrest. For some reason I knew that if I uttered a sound, or let this man know that I was awake something horrible was going to happen to me. So I pretended to turn in my sleep and I pulled the covers up and over my head and just prayed really hard for whoever it was to go away. The next morning our front and back doors were wide open. After that we made sure the doors couldn't be opened in any way from the outside while we were inside. I couldn't sleep at night for the longest time after that. |

Cant really say that I have seen anything scary, but my God my Father has some stories to tell. The scariest one he told us was when he was courting my Mother from a young age. My Father grew up in the flates and my Mother a posh area, well every second night my Father use to walk my Mother home, and he would have to walk through the park by himeself at very early hours in the morning. Well one night he was walking along and he heard someone swinging on the swing in the playground. When he turned around he saw no one there so decided to keep on walking. After walking no more than two or three steps he heard his name been calling from behind, assuming it was the person he heard on the swing he turned around to greet them. He couldn't see anyone. He walked over to the playground railings and on the far side he could make out a shadown. Thinking it was one of his drinking buddies he walked around to where the shadow was. Before he got fully around he saw an elderly woman sitting on the stone beside the railings. She didn't say anything so my Father asked if she was alright, after getting no reply he started to move towards the woman. Hearing his footsteps the woman looked up and vanished!! My Father didn't have a drop to drink this night so he knew it wasn't the drink. He walked over to the stone and saw that the woman had left behind a comb. He picked it up with full intentions of bringing it with him the next time he left my Mother home. On reaching the flates he went straight to bed. The next morning he woke up, and going to the toilet he noticed that the door was stuck. He called my Nanny and told her, she said that his brother, my uncle James had gone in there a few minutes before hand and told my Father to give him a shout, on doing so and getting no reply he asked my other two uncles to help in push the door through. The found my uncle dead on the floor, he died from a brain hemmorague (SP?) My Father, since that morning is convinced that the woman he saw in the park was infact the Banshee herself warning him on my uncles sudden passing. Sorry if this was a bit long i get caught it story mode LOL Irish Lass |

I see stuff all the time but lemme tell you perhaps one of the top ten... I must've been around 9 or something. Ya when I was a kid I saw a lot of creepy junk. Still do. Anyways After my uncle died my aunt lived alone in this huge house. I hated going there with my mom to do sewing things. One night I had to go to the bathroom and I didn't want to go myself, but eventually was made to go. The bathroom was Huge! And as I sit down on the toliet I saw movement in the corner! It looked like an old lady covered from head to toe in a black veil! It moved side to side just humped over! I jumped off the toliet and ran the heck outta there! I told my mom but she did not believe me! |

well everything scared me when i was little. I used to be afraid to be outside by myself, i lived in the country so not a lot of people around. something about being outside by myself when its quiet makes me feel totally alone (not a good feeling for a 5 year old). other than that...nothing to seriously scary, although when i was about 7 there would be this old guy who'd follow us in a car, all of the time...of course he probably wasnt following us, just driving to or from work or something, but again still scary. The scariest thing though was when our car's engine caught on fire and ended burning to the frame (again when i was five lol). I was afraid to be in cars for a long time after that. (sorry nothing supernatural lol) |

When I was about seven years old, we lived in an apartment complex named Casa Real. Well, I used to ride my tricycle all through the apartments (thinking back now they seemed HUGE lol). One day I came upon an apartment hall that I would always go through, but I stopped cold just at the entry way to the hall. I could not move. There was nothing scary to see, but I felt a woman there. And she was angry. I looked down, and it was as if this cigar that had been dropped was moving all by itself. I left my tricycle and ran home. Later that evening they found the body of a woman in that apartment. She'd been raped and murdered. I think if memory serves it wnded up being this police officer in Bakersfield who was murdering prostitutes, and she was one of his victims. But like I said I was 7, and I can only go by what I remember all the grown ups talking about. |
Date: 11/20/2009 4:38:00 AM From Authorid: 15228 Nani, so it was a real man, that is so freaky! I was about 12 or 13 when I was awakened out of a dead sleep. I looked across the room and a girl was sitting on maybe a stool or something, she had long dark hair, and she kind of floated, she looking at me and I looking at her, until she just kind of faded away. I never saw her again. |
Date: 11/20/2009 6:57:00 AM From Authorid: 64365 Kelly and KiKi....an apparition might make my heart pound and me wet myself, but the real deal scares me even more. I was terrified that night. But, like I said something told me I better keep quiet and not utter a peep, and it was a really overwhelming feeling that I keep my mouth shut, so I did, and that is possibly one reason I'm alive today to tell it. |

Date: 11/20/2009 12:08:00 PM From Authorid: 11097 I have seen a lot but one of the scariest things that happened to me was I seen a woman dressed in white but her clothing was all worn and she was floating past a doorway I was looking at and she had a very demonic face. I seen this when I was living in my old house when I was about 12 or so. The face still haunts me. Interesting post thanks for sharing! |

Creepiest thing: I use coca-cola bottles filled with colored liquid sitting on top of my stereo speakers. One day while studying one of the coca cola bottles started to wobble around in circles. At first it was a slow wobble and then it sped up. I thought it was going to wobble right over. The creepy part is nothing else on the dresser moved. There was another coca-cola bottle right next to the one moving and the liquid in it wasn't even swaying. Then it just stopped. Scariest thing: A head on collision. I saw the accident happen. Saw one of the cars practically fly through the air and do a 180. One of the injured tried to get out of her car but ended up collapsing. I still see images of her on the ground. Her head was bloody. I was scared to drive for weeks after that. I still refuse to drive on that road and will take the long way around if I have to. |
