Possible BIG FOUR TOUR with Metallica/Megadeth/Slayer/Anthrax? *ANGUS*

Hey guys, I'm sure some of the metalheads here at USM have already heard about this, but rumors have been going around for the past month or so that a tour with the Big Four Thrash Bands is being planned. That's right: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer AND Anthrax all playing on the same tour, something that has never happened!

The Big Four were the forerunners in the thrash metal scene of the 80s. While there were a lot of good thrash bands around, these 4 were the most successful at the time (and in Metallica/Megadeth/Slayer's case, they still are). It doesn't sound like much, but a tour like this would go down in history for a few reasons. First of all, like I said, they have never all toured together on the same bill. Second, there has been a rivalry between Metallica and Megadeth since Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica, but it has greatly decreased over the years (although Dave still has his moments). If they could get over their issues for a tour like this, imagine what other great things it could lead to for both bands. It would be a great way for Metallica & Megadeth to bury the hatchet.

Last but not least, who WOULDN'T want to see 4 great bands in one show?

I wish I had the time to stay down there and got James Hettfield Autograph...But I had to pack for my brothers wedding

Date: 9/26/2009 5:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 62146    I am well aware off the rivalry between metalica and megadeth this is why I highly doubt tickets ever even going on sale. Rumors happen will rapid furry as we all well know. But if tickets ever went on sale I would give up my life earnings for just one ticket knowing me.
Date: 9/26/2009 5:44:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63047    The only thing that makes this more than just a rumor is that members of all bands have openly commented on it, and they all seem excited about it, even Dave Mustaine.
