The usmers on my facebook show me more love than people I have known forever. I was just mentioning that to my husband today because of what day it is.

Vadia, I know what you mean, but don't you think in some ways we are more real to each other there? We just connect, maybe because we see more of each other's background and family, I don't know, But I feel more of a connection now because when someone is just an alias then we don't resond the same. |

My husband don't get it, but he is always surprised because I know evrything that happens in our family every day, I have a daughter in Florida, a niece going to college in Tampa, another neice at college in Michigan, family all over and we keep up so fast on facebook. I have friends and relatives I would not know "all the little stuff" that matters. It works. |

Yes I have to agree with you Brenda, this site is my main love, but I do have fun on Facebook and have a lot of peeps from here on my list and I haven't seen anything but fun things there. One of my grandsons found me on there that I hadn't seen for 10yrs and he happened to be in the USA lol!!When I get my new computer I intend to join in more of the games that are available to play there. I love the hearts and nice things we can send to one another. There are quite a few that belong to the USM group there but it needs livening up a bit I think LOL...I'm still finding my way round it to be honest you know, adding pictures, doing albums lol! but I'll get there one of these days lol...  |

Me too Zema, I had lost track of half my bio Dad's family and now I have found them on Facebook, we are family again. I had never met some of them and we talk every day now. I love it. We share so much. Its given me a better way to get to know lots of people on USM that I did not know as well as I do now. |

I agree Brenda..it's nice like you said to match faces with names and to see some of the quizzes and photos and just postings that show so much more of our personalities than we can share here..I know that the G rating here is for a reason, but sometimes it does go so far as to mask little quirks in our personalities that aren't necessarily "bad"..just that don't always fit under the G rating guidelines..  |

How is it that we all "connected" so much more on Facebook? Are we sharing more, getting to know each other better? I feel this is important to USM because we all want to be friends. Most of us are. I understand the debates which is why I mostly don't go there, but WHY is it that we NEVER EVER say anything bad about each other on Facebook and yet here, we seem to have lost a dear friend? Why is that? |

pure venom from facebook, I had to delete everyone from USM because of pure hate and accusations. I did nothing to no one. I don't even know how to describe my feelings right now. There seems to be no where left to go that is safe, secure, and friendly. Trust is lost here. Threats took that away. |

Look me up Sarah, I got rid of my stalker. I don't know how he got on my profile but I had to delete everyone and start over to get rid of him. It wasn't like he liked me, actually I could tell he hated me and just wanted to cause trouble. But I love the games and apps. |

Eh, I don't use Facebook or Myspace often. But choosing between the two I would pick Facebook, a lot more of my family that lives in other states is on there and its a lot easier to use and takes less loading time. As far as USMer's go, I don't think I have anyone on there. |
