I don't drink soda much at all, I'm more of a sweet iced tea girl myself, but when I do, I prefer A&W Root Beer! At one time I was highly interested in learning to make it at home.  |

I havent had ginger ale in probably years lol. now I'll have to have one.  I mostly drink diet mt dew or diet sundrop. But I'll also drink diet coke, diet dr pepper and occasionally diet pepsi.  |

A&W Cream Soda, extremely cold. Nothing else really. I usually prefer heavily iced water or tea or my morning coffee, over anything. Possibly a Sprite or Squirt every now and again. I just really dislike the fizz that goes on when I have soda in my mouth. Carbonated drinks have never really been my thing  |

I don't like drinking soda anymore (bad for you and too much sugar), but once in a while I treat myself to 7-Up with pizza or Chinese food. Or Mexican soda in Apple (Sidral.) Or just plain or flavored Italian carbonated mineral water.  |

I'm boycotting sodas as much as possible, I won't pay the highway robbery prices. If I want sugar flavored water I'll drink Kool-Aid. I also won't buy bottled water at highway robbery prices, I'll take my chances with the city water. If fact I won't pay highway robbery prices of anything I'll eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches instead on highway robbery prices of McDonalds, Burger King; etc. Did I say I won't pay highway robbery prices? I won't pay highway robbery prices until they double, no triple, make that quadruple my wages to keep with doubling, tripling and quadrupling of prices.  |

That's good AstralTraveler, at least you're saving money I still love soda though, and it's more than "sugar-flavored water". It's an amazing carbonated can of heaven... well, it's not that great, but certain sodas just taste good lol  |

I'd rather mix liquid vitamins with KoolAid, it's still cheaper and it makes me feel better. Haven't been sick in 15 years. Something I haven't tried is to mix club soda w/KoolAid; bet it's good. |

I'll tell you another thing I do to save money. I wash my clothes in the sink basin when I take a shower at a truck stop. Using washer and dryer costs four bucks or so. I won't pay it. Of course none of this makes up for the lousy pay they pay us truck drivers. But it's the point not to complain and do what I can. Working for the same pay I was 15 years ago with about 25% of the same buying power is about as bad as it gets for someone working 70+ hours a week. That's a 75% cut in pay considering buying power. And that's no joke. |
