The moments you never forget, in front of your eyes
Lightning fast, before you know it they pass by
Grab a hold of them and keep a tight grip
Enjoy those moments before they slowly start to slip
You and your friends all gather around
Same old feelings, a very different town
Weeds replace the grass once so green
Where you ran around, laughed and screamed
Tears run off your cheeks, onto your feet
As nostalgia clouds you, a taste so bittersweet
Roads once smooth, now worn down and gray
Gravel underfoot reminding you of the better days
Don't let the passed time get you down
Flashbacks fill your mind with familiar sounds
Things aren't what they used to be
Fun and games replaced by a cold reality
Time to grow up, and move on from the past
Something we must accept and get over fast
Just because it's over, doesn't mean we're done

Halloween is Right around the corner.. .

I can sorta relate to it too even though I'm still young. The street I live on hasn't been the same over the past year or two. We have a lot of cool neighbors, but some of my friends have moved away and it's not the same fun place it used to be 4-5 years ago. It's just a lot quieter
