yet to be seen by my own eyes, but I am in the denial stage anyways lately.
this house has seen death. that has been documented. it has seen evil. the people who lived here last (before my daughter, then me and my fiance moved in) practiced some weird 'stuff'. or at least they left weird evidence of funny behaviors.
where to start?
okay, I guess I will start with the background to how the house was rented by my daughter and her ex fiance and get into later moving in after she left back to cali.
The house is a pleasant enough looking house. basic in structure, with an enclosed porch and darling little touches and a lot of natural wood inside. the basement is another story. it is dark and dank, always flooding unfortunately as it has a layout of rooms that, if finished, would make a great addition to the house.
when my daughter moved in, the house was barely fixed up by the horrendous acts of violence bestowed on the house. the house was literally torn apart. french doors busted, walls punched or kicked completely out, roof shingles torn from the top, food left and larva from flies dotted every corner it seemed. the current owners cleaned it all up the best they could after sinking 20k into repairs.
My daughter loved the house at first and we were admitedly jealous that she was in a larger house then us. we llived ina cute two bedroom as well, but no basement or double livingroom or breakfast nook like hers. but hey...I am glad (or was at the time) she found a place that she loved.
so it begins.....
this is all hearsay as of yet as I am not sure whether or not I have had real experiences yet. but these are the accounts of others. the story is long so i will have to go step by step..in more then one story.
when she moved into the house, there were some pentagrams on the walls in the basement and garage. easily washed away and not necessarily a bad omen to me. wiccans and other very gentle religions use these. however, other signs left by the previous tenants were not so peaceful. like I said, the place was torn down and the violence it took to batter this house was hateful enough. the people seemed like freaks. I asked the landlord how she could rent to such trash and she said the lady seemed very nice, the references checked out and she thought she was going to be a great tenant. (later, she would learn this woman had some teens that were never supervised and the woman, although she held a job, slept all day long and the cops were called to the house regularly.) In the basement, another present was left by both the previous tenant and even the cleaning man for my daughter and family when they arrived to start unpacking and exploring their new home.
a headless winnie the pooh doll lamp was strung up in the basement. now this may not seem to be big deal and it wasnt at first. it was just strange. it was in one of the little rooms where there is no outlet. the head was ripped off its plush body and it was strung up upside down....we took it off and trashed it. a sign of what was to come or just coincidence???? it was weird to say the least. poor pooh.
more to come...lots more. hope this didnt bore you, but I am trying to document as accurately as I can.
all my other posts about this house will have this same title with the address. I have posted before about certain homes I have lived in (believe me, I dont think they are all haunted:P) this is the best way to keep track...for me and for you, if you choose:) You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 20296 ( Click here )
