Oh my gosh, are you really going to be in the 'Graceland' area??? When George and I got to go to the Bama 2007 G2G, we landed in Memphis first, just so we could see the sites .. and of course Sun Records and the home of Elvis. It was really awesome, and well worth it. Oh, and by the way, I really REALLY hope you can meet some real live USM-ers along your travels. They would be so lucky to meet you and your family ... mostly because your such an 'Angel' .. *wink-wink*. Common peeps, if she is coming your way .. stand up and wave your arms   Lumi is so wonderful and I sure hope I can meet her someday !!!   |

We just checked in to the hotel. WOW its humid! More so than at home. Boys are all starting to show up. For those that dont know, my oldest son is in a competitive 13 year old travel team. About a week ago he was in Omaha, Neb and competed in a 13 team tourney and came in second. VERY proud of him, LOTS of money - but this is his dream. 9.5 hours to get here...Glad to stretch the legs. Gail/Art we would LOVE to meet you! I gave you my personal info...I will keep you posted on how the team does - if by chance we dont go far I dont want to you "waste" a trip. These Southern boys...are going to be tough! But, my Midwestern Cardinals are going to be a true test for them! Wow I thought it was hot by my house! Holy cow! Its 10:45 and its about 83 degrees/humid! During the day its been getting into the 95's-100's. We actually met someone in the SAME hotel from our home town! 8.5 hours away! Small world. |

Tourney starts today - we are playing the Collierville, TN Longhorns (I think) one game today @ 11:30 and two tomorrow. 74 at home...and I complain...NO MORE! LOL its about 95-100 here now. Egads! |
