I see you, eyes beaming with love
unconditionaly you give
like from heaven above
Your always there
with a jump and a hop
giving plenty of kisses until told to stop
you'll run around
till all hours of the night
keeping vigilance, till the new light
and when it comes time
you'll lay your head in my lap
as we both slumber off for an afternoon nap
out in the yard
a nice game of catch
when we're done you'll get a nice pat and a scratch
your always there
and will be to the end

Halloween is Right around the corner.. .

There was this dog in the neighborhood that really bonded with me. Either that, or he was addicted to the menhaden fish that I use for crab bait. Never seen a dog to love fish so much. I miss his mug these days, `cause his owner up and moved away. Enjoyed the read, Shadow Tiger.
