USM is like the Enterprise

Its true, USM is just like the Star ship Enterprise. We have all kinds of people here from every part of the planet, every creed, color, Religion and even sexual preference. Its one giant social experiment.

The whole world should take a look at USM! I think the world governments could use a few lessons from USM on how get along with each other. Its not easy being different from everyone else. Sometimes we feel all alone. We feel misunderstood, and sometimes we get mad and say things we don't mean. Usually when this happens to me, I almost always wish I would have kept my big mouth shut. I feel bad later for those things I say. I use to make excuses (in natural defence of myself) like "That's a stupid person they don't understand anything", just to save face.

Its takes a strong, brave person to admit there wrong. Humans have always had this complex in that, when your wrong somehow you are less of a person. When we make mistakes, say the wrong things or hurt peoples feelings. That does not make us a bad person or less of a person. It simply means we´re human. Yes.... fellow USMers the whole world could take lessons from us here at USM. Because almost all of us here Know How to Say "I´m Sorry, I made a mistake."

Sometimes we need to "Agree to Disagree" That's ok, not a thing wrong in that. Its when we are intolerant of other beliefs or feelings or lifestyle that we really run the risk of isolating ourselves to some little narrow minded world of our own making. If you look around the world today in the news, you can see countries just like this.

People everyday lose there lives because of their Religion. Because of there race and any number of things which make them different from the norm. I will pose one question to you.... What is Normal? Is it normal for all peoples to be the same in ever aspect? What a boring world that would be.

We are all individuals for a reason.. Its because God made us this way, its in his plan.

Just like the Enterprise, USM... The whole world is God´s great social experiment...

I just felt like saying this because I am not so different from all of you. Even if I am an Individual.
