I was looking through one of my old books and found something I never posted before. So, here it is. Written in December 2007.
Resignation..
I'm sorry,
And I mean this with all my heart.
I'm stuck in my ways
And just falling apart
Deteriorating from the inside..
And, with every single breath,
I'm eroding..slowly killing myself.
So, I will mark the trail
Using my own despair..
And, with my mask of stone
I will leave the pieces.
Taking my exit the easy way..
Because I'm just not worth it.
