PNK's trip to the dentist.......

Well, return the mean dentist. I knew it was going to be short lived. He wanted the white packing materila but the nurses could only find the pink. He yelled at them like they were satan, just for them to inturn make fun of him after he left the room.

Good girls.

What I thought would be a routine filling of a cavity was not. Mind you, for a talker I have a small mouth. The cavity of the day was the far back upper right side. Apparently it was pretty deep, so he drilled and drilled and then packed it with the pink insulation looking stuff and filled it with silver.

He also munched up ALL my upper teeth (ran the drill over them) to seal ALL of them on the underside where you chew your food so that I would not get cavities there ever. I was appriciative. I didn't ask him to. I was so numb when I left I could barely talk. He knew he was gonna pull the muscles in my jaw. Yup,he sure did. At least he was nice to me.

An hour after I got home I felt pain. I was still VERY numb so I knew that wasn't good.

Having had another cavity filled 2 weeks ago I didn't think this would hurt at all. The other one didn't.

Well, no one told me what to expect so I came home and didn't take a thing. DIdn't eat or drink. and WAMMO I was in tears it hurt so bad. I called the office twice while they were out ot lunch, left 2 messages and decided before anyone could call me I would go. He FINALLY told me yes, it would hurt like that for about 4 days and this time gave me a prescription of pain meds.

Also the last cavity cannot be filled. I have to have a root canal to fix that one AND I WILL cause I am NOT running around with one front tooth missing. no WAY!

Problem there.....he doesn't do root canals. I have to go to someone else and pay up. Yay. I bet you 5000% though, a root canal won't feel as horrible as this does.

I can't open my mouth much, I can't eat well. My jaw for 3 days is ruined while it repairs itself.
