You can do it PNK! I'm on day 16 of the regement, and I haven't had a smoke yet (nor have I wanted one), and still going strong. I'm on the Canadian version of your Chantix, mines Champix, but same stuff.
And yes I'm going by days, cause I'm going day by day, some days are a bit harder then others, but if I can conquer them so can you!  |

YAY you! You can do it! A few more days and that taste will hit you about 1/2 way through a smoke. Watch out for those middle of the night feedings....hubby is on his second month and about 2 or 3 times a week he gets a craving after midnight...yep, wakes him up from a dead sleep, but he hasn't gained any weight yet.  |

I used the losenges to help quit. I have heard that the Chantix has some other interesting side effects other than a bad taste in the mouth. A friend at work told me that it gave him really interesting dreams, and that food was now so-so, and that he just had an "eh" attitude about everything.

having an eh attitude for me would be an improvement and the dreams are true. They are fun and irritating LOL I had a dream night before last where I kept having this shadow woman come into my room and wake me up over and over and over and over and over, well, you get the drift. Needless to say, later, I took a nap.  |
