My mom would hang on to those too, until I told her firmly, "I know there will be other kids who would want to play with those toys". So eventually we gave them all away. *shrugs* if you were to throw them out I'd suggest giving them away. Love, |

As far as I know, they never really end up being the type of toy that is really worth much later. But if you don't keep them, definitely give them to charity. They are perfectly useful to a kid in a poor household. |

You could always hang onto them for a while; I have a friend who has collected so much stuff, it home actually looks like a museum---- alot of neat stuff----that will be worth a lot of money someday, if not now-----I once and I mean once had a comic book intact, I still have it it's just not intact any longer----lol -----The comic book was a large-sized comic book of The Wizard of Oz---my Mom bought it for me when I was about 8 or 9 yrs old----I had the comic book all these yrs. until I came home from work one evening and my 6 -month old German shepherd, had it down in the floor chewing on it--------I had thought I had it in a good hiding place, but he had the cushions out of a 1940's Loveseat I had spent $500.00 restoring about 15 yrs ago, they were on the floor along with the "Rare" Comic book-------I had watched The Antique Roadshow one night and those comic books are worth about $ 50,000 now-----------I knew the book could possibly be worth a lot, I had held onto it all those yrs-------I went outside...and sat for an hr after I found it and the loveseat in shambles, I still have the comic book in a ziplock baggy in a thousand pieces oops sorry so long lol....keep the toys, ya never know! .....T/C |

Remember when McDonald's was doing the small beanie babies? My Mom went crazy buying happy meals just to get them 'cause they were all the craze back then (big ones and small ones) We can't even sell those things at our yards sales for a quarter...you could always keep them in a plastic tub to have around if any kids should ever come to visit, then they would have something to do or you could give 'em away, I really don't think they would be worth anything, but you could always check the internet just to be sure. |

All I can tell you is that one of my aunts is a barbie freak. She has collected them since she was a child. She saved all the ones she'd gotten from McDonalds over the years. She ended up selling them (just the ones from McDonalds) and got enough money to buy a new car (yes, a NEW car...nothing fancy though). I don't know how many she sold or exactly how much she got for them though. |

I know the value of collectable items depend on how many other people have the same thing/had access to it/how rare, how wanted they are by collectors now, how much they cost at the time the item was acquired. So out of those factors alone, probably not much or anything at all. But you never know, you can still do some digging around on the internet and stuff. Good luck |

I had an uncle who thought so, but now he just sells those things at swapmeets. Anything is only worth what people will pay for it. It depends what it is, i guess. I keep them for sentimental value.lol. Yeah, I'm 23 and got kid's meals from McDonald's cuz they were giving "My Little Pony" and I remember having those as a kid! Well, I only collected two but yeah.lol.And Apple Jack's cereal are giving "Disney" pets. They're little stuffed, cheap character, but cute.I got Dori from Finding Nemo. |

P.S. only time will tell if they'll be worth money. Like 20 year anniversaries for those characters, etc. |
