This ghost town was a Pente-costal Christian commune from 1914 to 1921. The faithful held twenty-four hour prayer vigils in a brick building overlooking the community. Now the area is haunted by a floating, square-shaped white light, which moves slowlly through the trees and deserted buildings. Some have suggested that it is the spirit of Dr. Finis Yoakum, founder of the community. Haauck, p.78.
