I have known those who see auras and for the most part have always been women. I have been told serveral times that my aura shimmers like chrome. It is a spiritual energy and you need to learn about the Chakras which is akin to chi but each chakra corresponds with the body through the spine. Check out references to Kundalini yoga. I've been able to see auras as well as spirits since I was a very very young child. As I grew older it sort of scared the bejeepers out of me, but I've since been learning to control them to a certain degree. I will tell you though it's hard living right across the street from a funeral home, crematoriam, a mausoleum and the graveyard. Some nights I don't get much sleep because of spirits.  |

I have seen a few people's before. But I kind of blocked some of my sensitivites for reasons. One person scared me the crud out of me!! I had read of black auras.. but never thought it was true. Until i saw a person who i had a bad feeling about a friend of mine was dating years ago. Then one day i saw it, his aura was so black it wasnt even funny. And he truely was a horrible person!  |

I have never believed that people could see auras, but I have heard and read so much about it and have several times been told that I have a white aura, whatever that means, no one told me so maybe it is not too good a thing.  |

I thought auras were a sign of migraines.. at least that's what I've been told by my dr's and other research i've done.. not saying you are not psychic of course because i find all that stuff very interesting.. but i just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything else! keep us posted if anything else happens! much love sweetie!  |

I forgot to mention that one can 'feel' one's aura simply by rubbing one's palms together vigoriously and then placing the hands palms toward the body and move the hands over the top of the head and you can definitely feel your aura. |

Bunches o Hunny, in the medical profession, an "aura" is the optical/visual disturbance seen by many migraine sufferers. Usually the aura medically is flashing light, squiggly lines with kaleidoscope colors as well as other anomaly's of the senses ... vs. the psychic aura which is usually light/inner light emanating around a person's head/shoulders and sometimes entire body... just a fyi clarification For the record I too see auras both medically and psychically!! LOL And science explains it as (If I remember correctly) acetylcholine (neurotransmitter) left over so to speak, causing disturbance...  |
