How pretty to see that lovely snow. You are lucky to at least see some of it....where I live in Australia it never snows and to see it we have to travel quite a way...your verandah must have been built with strength hun to have with stood all those hurricanes, thank you for sharing your pictures with us, I love seeing them from over the other side of the world lol...  |

I think the last good snow in the Galveston area was like in 2003 or 2004. Probably it was 2003. The time before that was in 1989, and we had a white Christmas that year.  |

Hey there, Katlillie! Yep, we got our snow and it really was neat looking. I got to see and "be" in it, all night long. (Working the nightshift that week.) I love the reference to your porch.
