Have they since, confirmed them to be Caylee's? I'm sorry Vadia I know how you were so holding out hope that the mother didn't harm her and that they would find her alive somewhere (HUGS) |
Date: 12/11/2008 12:36:00 PM From Authorid: 61966 I heard about this earlier today. I'm sure it's her, but it's so sad! I just don't understand how a mother could do something like that to her own child! |
Date: 12/11/2008 12:37:00 PM From Authorid: 28848 That poor baby. I hope she didnt suffer. I'm glad that its over though. And now they have a body so this will ensure a conviction. |
Date: 12/11/2008 12:42:00 PM From Authorid: 37150 I'm sure it's her. Last night on the news (I live in Souther CA) and they said the grandparents came here 'cause a couple had sighted a little girl they thought was their grandaughter. I don't blame them for coming here, wanting to keep the hope and everything, but when I saw the security tape of the little girl, i didn't think it looked like Caylee. If the body is in fact Caylee, then hopefully justice can be served and this little girl can rest in peace. |
Date: 12/11/2008 12:52:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 18928 Angi they have not officially confirmed them to be Caylee, but it is likely her. Thank you for the kind words. Back in July I did not originally think the mother did it, and then I held out hope for a long time that Caylee was alive, but as the evidence slowly because public, it was too hard to deny the fact that her mother killed her. I hope Caylee didn't suffer. It is still possible her death was accidental and that is the last bit of hope left in this case. |
Date: 12/11/2008 12:55:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 18928 Mayuka my first thought on hearing about the discovery was that the grandparents were in Cali because of a possible Caylee siting at a restaurant. There was also a mall siting, people really cared about this little girl and want justice for her. |

Brings tears to my eyes when I look at that beautiful little face and wonder what kind of person would even want to harm her let alone murder her. All I hope and pray is that she didn't have to suffer but it does make you wonder what kind of life that little girl had with a mother who obviously didn't want her. From what I've read of this case from you posting Stace, at least she had loving grandparents. Trouble is she didn't live with them all the time did she? Poor little girl and I hope her mother rots in jail.. |
Date: 12/11/2008 1:50:00 PM From Authorid: 64279 This is such a sad story. I was reading it to my roommates and a couple of friends, and they all had the same reactions too. I feel so bad for babies that have to go through something like that. I really hope she didn't go through any pain. She was so adorable. It just makes me want to cry, and drive 4 hours home to hug my little boy. |
Date: 12/11/2008 1:51:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 18928 She did live with her mother at her grandparents house. The last few months of Caylee's life Casey got a new boyfriend that she met on facebook and she began staying with him, but nobody really knows where Caylee was staying at that point. She told everyone that she was with a fictitious babysitter. It is believed that Casey would drug the child enough for her to sleep for hours while she partied and may well have overdosed her accidentally. |
Date: 12/11/2008 1:58:00 PM From Authorid: 20750 That poor baby. This really breaks my heart! It really disturbs me. I hope she did not suffer. Hugs. |
Date: 12/11/2008 2:05:00 PM From Authorid: 53961 I am still praying it is not her. In the end, is is sad that somehwere some family will have closure on another lost child... |
Date: 12/11/2008 2:19:00 PM From Authorid: 15070 My heart is heavy. I think every Mother (and Grandmother) feels the loss & terror of this crime. Such a beautiful child. She looks so much like my Granddaughter, Analisa. My Prayers will be for Caylee, and those that loved her. Sweet child, I am sure she is an Angel now. |
Date: 12/11/2008 2:22:00 PM From Authorid: 40145 I won't assume its caylee until the police says it is REALLY her then I will have to comment that. but it is really sad for a child to be murdered like that. |
Date: 12/11/2008 2:24:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 18928 I too am hoping its not Caylee, but it is looking more and more likely that it is. |
Date: 12/11/2008 3:32:00 PM From Authorid: 64498 I hope its not this little baby but I think it is. May she rest in peace |
Date: 12/11/2008 4:39:00 PM From Authorid: 51876 Another sad state of affairs. It seems logical that it is probably Caylee but at this point, let's wait and hear.Infantcide seems to have reared it's ugly head again. It is good she was googled that much cause it's about time.Crimes agaist children drove my buddy Tom Evans from USM near the breaking point.Once we start looking around with our Xray eyes at Life.Insides look very ugly.Hope the TRUTH is found out once and for all for her soul. |
Date: 12/11/2008 6:26:00 PM From Authorid: 15157 Is`nt it kinda odd they didnt find the body until now...and why would she bury the body so close to home?...Its too close. |
Date: 12/11/2008 6:50:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 18928 Because she was familiar with the area. And they didn't find her before because the area was heavily flooded after Hurricane Faye. |
Date: 12/11/2008 6:54:00 PM From Authorid: 15070 I just hope we know soon. This waiting is the hardest part. Someone lost a child. (The bones). If it is Caylee, we can try to mourn her & heal. |
Date: 12/11/2008 7:23:00 PM From Authorid: 64667 The poor baby. Cases like this really hurt my heart....and i offer up prayers for all involved. |
Date: 12/12/2008 4:18:00 AM From Authorid: 4144 i hope if it is her there is enough evidence with the body to put that so called mother away. maybe the grandmother too. i think she has known all along and has been covering for the mother. |
Date: 12/12/2008 9:29:00 AM From Authorid: 28363 HI Vadia, such a sad set of circumstances. Thank you for reaching out and putting together this informative post. |
Date: 12/12/2008 5:33:00 PM From Authorid: 64604 this is so sad, i really do think they've found her. not mush consolation, but if it is her, at least there will be closure. |
Date: 12/12/2008 8:53:00 PM From Authorid: 50864 I agree with Monabug How horrible I think her Mom and Grandma are beyond awful |

I don't think Cindy Anthony was involved in the actual murder, but I do think she has been lying for Casey for a long time and continues to do so. My theory is that Caylee was drugged and put in the trunk of Casey's car so that she (Casey) could go out and party. Caylee's mouth was duct taped and her limbs probably secured in case she woke up so she couldn't scream and draw attention to herself. Unfortunately this happened in the summer in Florida and it got too hot in the trunk and Caylee died. The body was disposed of first in the Anthony's own backyard and then dug up and discarded in the wooded area where it was recently discovered. That little girl suffered. I hope Casey suffers, too. May justice be served. |
Date: 12/17/2008 6:19:00 PM From Authorid: 19173 No wonder why Casey said at one point, I think to her father, that she knows Caylee is nearby because she could just feel it. She said she knew Caylee was close. |
