This little work of holiday art is from my "baby" girl (she's nearly 11 now...I'm soo proud).
It’s Christmas the cold air in the mornings and hot chocolate at night!
On Christmas eve every child waiting for Santa bringing presents of joy,
The day of Christmas, the air very chilling, you hear kids happy shreaks,
If lucky snow will fall, and you’ll see it on your neighbor’s lawn-
And see the kids smiling, having snowball fights and making snowmen,
Mothers are baking ginger bread men, gingerbread houses with those delicious smells-
The kids get lured to the kitchen, moms give them milk and cookies,
They smile with milk mustaches, they laugh with joy, they are happy it’s Christmas-
And there is peace on Earth on Christmas as well.
