Alright I hate to be one of those people lol. But my father is finally starting to realize that way he has acted and treated people has left him to die a lonley old man with no one to blame but himself. He has randomly called me after not hearing from him in forever (I guess the lonely holidays will do that to a person)

Anyway, he has asked me to try to find his sister that he hasn't spoken a word to in at least 15 years. I'm not good at these google searches and after hours of nothing but scams for money, I have yet to find anything solid. Any suggestions?

oh and to make matters harder, she was married, but did divorce but he's not sure as to whether she bothered changing her last name back or anything.

Thanks,

Ma

Genealogy.com maybe? I probably spelled it wrong lol.

Date: 11/26/2008 8:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    if you know some basic info (first and last name, maybe where they are living and age) try facebook, i have found many people on facebook who i havent spoken to in 10yrs!
Date: 11/26/2008 11:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 13297    Yeah I would have suggested facebook too. In addition try querying her on Google - if she uses the internet she's out there - particularly if her name isn't too common. Or you might try searching the online white pages for the city where she was last known to be - under her married and maiden names. Is there no one else in the family who might know her whereabouts? Last but not least, maybe hire a PI - but that is probably pretty expensive and your dad should fund it since it is he who wants to know... Good luck!
Date: 11/27/2008 12:10:00 AM  From Authorid: 61901    Also, you can try Zaba Search. In addtion to search engines. Court website, The records are "Public Record" and you can check these in the cities which she may have lived. If you have Her SSN, you can buy a credit report on her for around 30 dollars. The credit report is your best bet. If you decide to get the credit report, make sure you get one from the Agency itself and not a "Third Party" Agency. Most of the sites on the web are garbage when searching for people. Stick with City, county and state data bases... Dont forget to check law enforcement data bases also. Good Luck

She 62, so I'm not sure how much she frequents the internet, but I did try the white pages and public records for the area. Just not alot of luck there. Thanks for the help guys!
