Date: 11/13/2008 5:40:00 AM From Authorid: 36901 That's great! I used to take care of my cousin when he was an infant. When he was colicky, running the vaccum was the only thing that helped. We wore the thing out. lol :P |

I highly recommend "The Happiest Baby On The Block Video"...he talks about the 5 's Swaddling, - Side/stomach position - You place your baby, while holding her. Shushing Sounds - Swinging - Sucking - |
Date: 11/13/2008 9:59:00 AM From Authorid: 28848 Wow thats really good that it works for him. I've heard of similar things like this, other people have used things like the vaccum cleaner etc. |
Date: 11/13/2008 10:30:00 AM From Authorid: 7830 never works for my kids! we always use fans, yet, they still dont sleep *sigh* |
Date: 11/13/2008 5:55:00 PM From Authorid: 21839 blow dryers & vacuum cleaners work but you can't keep them on long.. glad you found something that works good for Nathan... |
Date: 11/13/2008 10:32:00 PM From Authorid: 53052 white noise works well.. though i suggest not a hair dryer or vaccum as it's a great way to burn out appliances quickly... we have always had a fan going in our babes room helps her sleep wonderfully and the airflow is really good for them (helps prevent SIDS) i remember all tooo well the fussy baby (nicknamed her princess fussybutt) the tummy rubs, bicycle pedaling her knees into her tummy and gripe water were godsends! there are some great formulas out there (most babies can't handle full iron in formula.. (Enfamil makes a great gentle ease formula what works wonders-many moms i know have also raved about it) |
