Five years ago today, I married my best friend, my soul mate, my love, Nakoma. Time sure doesn't feel like it's been 5 years ALREADY! hehe.. It seems like it was just maybe 2 years ago- and the Honeymoon stage still hasn't really worn off! LOL
Nakoma, you complete me, sweetheart. You have been there for me, when I know it hurts you to see me not doing well health wise. You have been so good to me- I could not ask for more. Even when I met you, I knew that you were the one for me.
Thank you for always being with me, through the best and the worst times. It hasn't always been easy, sweety, but we've made it through it all together. I love you more, now, than ever, and it continues to grow each and every day! :D
Thank you for being such an excellent father, too. Our lil man and you, are the lights of my world. My pride and joy.
Happy anniversary sweetheart! I love you!
For our anniversary, I talked mom into watching lil man for us, while we had a good date night. We don't have them very often, but man, it was so much fun! I hope that we can sometime do that more! hehe
We went out to eat at a nice restaurant, then went to the movies. The movie kind of stunk, but it's ok, we still had fun! lol... After the movie, we went by the Renaissance Faire, and Kind of redid our vows to ourselves. No witnesses or anything really xD What makes this special is, a few months ago, hubby's ring went down the floor drain at work (he's lost a lot of weight these last several months, and it slipped off) . He and his boss tried everything to get it out, but it was gone by the time they got everything opened. Bummer.... However, yesterday, he and I chose a new one for him, and when we were renewing our vows to ourselves, is when I put it back on his finger. He was SO happy. It made it such a special moment. :D
We then went to pick up lil man a costume for Halloween, which we thought until today, that hubby had to work on Halloween. We got him a Ninja outfit, because all the power ranger ones were sold. No matter, lil man still thinks it's Power Rangers anyway- that's the first thing he said when he saw it.
After that, we went and had a glass of tea, and shared a piece of brownie cake at another restaurant. We talked and laughed, and just enjoyed the last of our evening out. :D
We came home to a very tired, mawmaw. Our lil man definitely didn't go completely easy on her tonight. hehe...
Anyway, I'm completely tired now, but I just had to share with my USM family! :D hehe
Hope each of you have had an awesome day/night as well. I love ya'll.
*hugs*
