Well life only means 20 years max. but I have heard that a person receiving a life sentence can get out after 5 years. |

Ranger, life most certainly does not mean 20 years max. It means life.. until you die. So if you get life with no chance of parole, there's no way you're ever getting out of jail before you die. Sometimes they'll sentence someone to "25 to life", but that just means they can appeal to the court after 25 years. I have never heard a case where someone got out of a life sentence after 5 years unless they were falsely convicted. |

Well, actually this type of thing occurred in Vancouver (if memory serves me correctly) decades ago. A pig farmer would invite "ladies of the night" to his farm to party, and for years, they were disappearing, but with little to no interest to authorities. He was feeding them to his pigs for years. Did those pigs end up in anyone's refrigerator in the form of chops or bacon is what I wonder . . . God Bless.  |
