Hey USMers!

Gas is FINALLY going down some!! Yesterday when I gased up it was $3.24 (another gas station was $3.19) and just now mom told me it went down to $2.99! I know it will probably never be down in the $1's anymore, but hey, I'm satisfied in the $2 range! Hopefully this will help our economy some and help people save up more money! It's hard saving up when you're spending $50+ just to fill up your car.

How much is gas where you are?

P.S. I'm from Minnesota if you're wondering

Date: 10/6/2008 5:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 36901    I filled up this morning for $3.49. On the way home from work, I passed the same station and it was $3.19. I was a little ticked off. I'm happy it's going down again though. Lets just hope it lasts. Each time it goes down, I keep thinking the worst. Maybe we'll be luck this time. It really does help. Especially when you have to drive to another town to work.

Some days work requires me to be on the road a lot and I really REALLY get sick of paying 40 bucks a pop everytime my TEEEEENY lil 12 gallon tank is on empty. 12 gallons should NOT legally EVERY require 40+ dollars to fill. JMO.

But I hope it lasts long enough. I don't care about it going down in the $1 range, it will never happen and I'm happy with a median price of 2.29-2.79. I got a text from my buddy in Springfield (MO) and it was 2.89 there...

Date: 10/7/2008 8:39:00 AM  From Authorid: 5940    2.99 here in northwest Arkansas. And it only took a major econonmic crisis to do it!
Date: 10/7/2008 9:25:00 AM  From Authorid: 11240    Is the percentage of these price drops you all are talking about any where near the percentage that a barrel of oil has dropped? God Bless.
