I am glad you are okay! My husband's aunt's home was destroyed. They don't know the extent of the damage yet, but the neighbor said that it was pretty bad. I will keep you in my prayers!  |

I live in the Omega Bay, across highway 6 from Bayou Vista.. we got around 4ft of water in our garage and everything was trashed, but luckily everything on the top floor made it intact. We evacuated to Lafayette, Louisiana to stay with family. From what I heard we are still without power and it could be up to 1-3 months before we get our water back on. I guess we will be displaced for quite some time.  |
