The Civic Theater in Darlington County, Durham, is haunted by the original owner, Rino Repi. The flamboyant vaudevillian called the place the "Darlington Hippodrome" and has had a very hard time turning it over to its new owners. Psychics have also detected the presence of a stagehand who committed suicide in the building.Hauck,p.75.
