What's wrong with me and responding to my own posts? :(

I can't figure out what's wrong with me and posting on the Internets right now. Let's say I go to a forum such as this one. I make a post about something...then I don't respond to it, even if I'm AFK because of work or school. I don't know why I'm doing this, it's only been just recent. I guess some part of me is afraid to respond for fear of saying the wrong thing or something. Right now it's frustrating because I'm making posts on this site that aren't meant to be controversial but then I get a ton of responses and that's when I feel like cyber-hiding because the post isn't meant to garner those kinds of responses, and that's when I don't answer or it suddenly feels awkward to answer for some reason.

Somebody just please tell me I'm not the only one with this Internet problem so I don't feel like a cyber-dork. I don't want to be ostracized because of one post or because I'm still straightening out elements I've forgotten from my profile. I need some advice regarding responding to posts so I could be a better forum member. And if I don't respond to this one right away, it's probably because I'll be in bed.

How it changed my life:

If, people have taken the time out of thier busy lives to read your posts my thought is the least you could do is acknowledge thier comments. Some people never do it doesn't go well for making people understand your postion though when, you don't respond. JMO..
Date: 8/22/2008 3:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 64365    Sweetie, just be honest with us. That's all we want, and when we respond to your posts, at least acknowledge that we did. Be prepared for people to disagree with you sometimes, and don't take it personal. We are a community here, and we welcome everyone, but if you try to pull the wool over our eyes, that's insulting our intelligence and nobody wants to be insulted. Just be you...not the you you wish you could be, or the you the you think will make friends...just be you, and that's all you need to do...
