I am a huge fan of the late, great Jeff Buckley and was involved in a heated discussion recently about the cause of his death. It is known that he drowned in the Mississippi River on May 29th (my birthday ironically). He apparently walked into the river with a friend and while the friend returned, Buckley did not. - correct me if I'm wrong. I always believed that drugs or suicide were the factors pertaining to his death however the other occupant in the converstation was adamant that Buckley was murdered. If anyone has any views on this topic I'd love to hear about them or any additional information about the mystery of his death. Internet searches have proved quite fruitless. 2 PM. Buckleys body was indentified by a close friend who was his tour manager. Jeff's father, Tim Buckley, was amusician in the 60's and 70's and died June 29 of a drug overdose.
