I did very well in school. When I was in grade 8 I was doing grade 10 work, when I was in grade 9 I was doing grade 12 work. I did well in all my classes the 98 was the lowest mark I ever got in any class in all 5 years of highschool. |

I forgot to mention that she is so bad at math that she is sometimes wrong when she corrects things. I am wondering if she screwed up my grade. I can't wait until tomorrow when I can talk to her.  |

I hated biology. I had many F's...I should of failed, but since I was only going have year in my senior year, the teacher passed me with 2 D's and a F....I never cared for biology.  |

Don't feel bad lol, I kinda had a lot point in math last year in 8th grade
I was in algebra 1 and our teacher broke her hand and was out for a few weeks because of surgery and stuff. Well, none of the subs really did a good job of teaching us and quite a few people in the class had their grades drop a bit (including mine, which went from an A to a B-/C+)
Once the regular teacher got back, I was fine and my grade went back up to an A by the end of the year  |

Thanks. It kind of stinks though because this class ends on Friday of next week. We should have at least two tests before it ends. But I don't know if I can get it back up to a B by then. I know a C isn't failing or anything, but it is bad compared to what I had. I hate it because it isn't even a hard class. Just very poorly taught. |

I got an incomplete in an art history class after my son was born, two kids and full time classes didnt work for me, but I failed my lighting design class when my daughter was like 8 months old, no excuse there except that no matter how many times I went in for help or stayed late, my teacher just told me to read the book, and I had, and obviously it wasnt working...  Im sure you will do just fine, everyone gets bad grades once in a while!  |

...well, I don't know if this will make you feel any better but I never liked my art class in high school so I skipped almost every class. I got a zero for that class at the end of the year and the teacher's comment on my report was "No ability or interest". You can't imagine how that simple comment stifled my artistic pursuits like, forever.  |

Yeah, I definitely think teachers can have impacts on grades. I know the responsibility relies primarily on the student, but a bad teacher can influence a grade. Especially a math teacher that is bad at math, LOL. |

I wish I could drop this class. It would definitely improve my GPA. I have a CGPA of 3.4 right now though. |

Thanks Hekler. I am doing pretty good besides this class. And luckily, this class wasn't even required for my degree. I thought I would take it for the benefits of learning it. Too bad there weren't many, LOL. |

I'm so sorry you're so bummed! TRUST me when I say I've been there! School is tough sometimes and I know you'd rather have that B over the C so bad you can taste it! Given time, you'll move past this grade...especially when you kick booty on the next test! Good luck with that!! I had a physiology class this past spring that was the hardest one I've taken in Grad. school...I am NOT a fan of studying parts of the brain. The first test, I got about an 88 or 89, so JUST missed the A. I thought I was set for the second test, but I ended up with a low C...anyhow, by the end of the semester I was borderline B/C and had to study my big butt off to get that B! It was very un-fun. Good luck finishing out the class!! You'll be fine!  |

I got 8% in my first exam at medschool....But it's the same exam they give everyone from 1st-5th year so it actually turned out to be just above average for my year but it was still pretty upsetting!  |
