Update ~Rika~

Just wanted to give everyone a little update about me..

As some of you know, my boyfriend and I rented out a room in a woman's house in New Jersey.. she has two dogs and didn't mind us bringing our Pit Bull Terrier, Bailey, along. All the dogs get along great and I'm really pleased to say that Bailey's immature puppy behavior has almost ceased completely after being around the other dogs for a while. They're older and bigger than her and I think she's learned a lot more about respect.

We also bought a Chevy Cavalier which we love.

We've begun decorating our room [which is about the size of a studio apartment]. We bought lime green curtains and a lime green rug.. and green paint for two of the walls. I'm excited most about painting. We bought a couple pieces of furniture, too.. I can't wait until our room is complete.

Phillipsburg is only a very short distance away from my family and the restaurant we work at in Pennsylvania.. so we were able to keep our jobs.

Gas is cheaper here than in PA, too.. which is nice. Taxes are higher and cigarettes are almost $7 a pack [as opposed to $4.50 in PA], but maybe that will just help us quit. =P
