Yeah, I would probally do again but I agree with you...I wouldn't want to buy one and have it sitting in my room..Kinda of creepy..either that or I'm just a big scared cat!  I believe that they CAN work and it can be evil..but not necessarily always. I bet you definitely had chills when you were playing and "Finally my Liz is talking to me" was spelled out!!  |

LoL about longest reply Shawn! I was having a rough go at the ouija board thing, so I was thinking maybe she was more in touch with the spiratual world than I am...like maybe she could be a medium. I say this because of strange dreams she has revolving around the death of a couple of people she was close to. For example: She dreamt one night that her grandfather showed up at her door with an old fashioned hard suitcase. She answered the door and asked what he was doing there and he was VERY happy and he said "I just had to come and see you!" and she asked where he was going and he said he was going home and that he was just SO happy--the main thing she remembered about the dream. Next morning she gets a phone call that he died that night. Creepy, eh? This is why I think she's more in touch with the spiratual world. |

Also, Aussie Girl, later on in the night when she was supposedly talking to HER grandmother again I asked if mine was still around and got a 'no', and I said 'crap, I wanted to know what she thought of Nick' (my bf of over 5 and a half years). Then her g-ma said 'Keep Liz with Nick and she can't go wrong', to which I said, "I sure hope she's right," so she said "I am very very sure of this"....which doesn't seem to be something Brandy would say to me b/c when I get frustrated with the relationship I'll talk to Brandy and she has questioned my relationship. I dunno, its fun to believe it could be real...whether or not it IS, I can't say. |

I use to have fun with it when I was a kid, but about 10 years back we (5 of us) were having fun with it and then something very evil came on and all *&LL broke loose! Bad, bad experience, so be very careful and don't let it trick you.  |

Personally, I think it could very well work, but not for all people. I certainly believe that things like Ouija boards and automatic writing can work if the spiritual motivation of the user is pure. There are plenty of things in this world we can’t understand; the spirit world is at the top of that list, yet, throughout man’s long history strange things have occurred that are completely unexplainable concerning the spirit world; a lot of times these are called miracles. It could be that centuries ago someone found the Ouija board was a very useful tool in communicating with the deceased, but with a history of people using it in a deceptive manner and cheapening its reputation, most scoff at it now. Knowing you Liz, I think that your motivation was nothing but pure and that you did speak to your grandmother  |

I think in most cases it is the sub(un)conscious of the alpha player that projects the movement. However it is also (apparently) documented that opening involuntary portals can allow icky energy through that can cause a lil trouble for the resident.  |

I had some very intresting experiences with the ouija board (see my posts) which lead me to believe there is defornatly something more then meets the eye. I do think if you need to be careful with this tho and take it seriously. let us know how you get on.  |

I don't just believe... I know for 100% fact they work. I have felt them move, I have gotten information that proved to be correct from people who were "dead" before I was even born. I had a ouija board ripped off a bed by an unseen force. It read my mind and said anything I thought about one time. Another time I saw a figure standing over me, and my friend saw the board in her head spell out "Stop playing this game", one time we played it and had an energetic session, then as we sat and "debriefed" about the session, the lights in the other room went full power ( they were on a dimmer) then slowly back down.I tried to play it alone...worst idea ever. It got out of control. I do not use any form of divination any longer. Sorry I went on so long, those are a few of my ouija experiences so you can see where I come from in this matter.  |
