Scoobs , I did not have a career. All i did for 21 years was work at a sporting goods store for maybe just a little over minimum wage. If you are in good health and a real active person and enjoy helping other people , I would suggest you could consider being a physical therapist , work in nursing homes , assistant living , maybe be a petsitter and have your own business and hours. My guess there are so many people that get into computer things I would do something that there is not much interest to a lot of people and still make money. If I was in good health and could hear well I would be a pet sitter for sure. |

Depends on what age LOL I was an accounting professional and then switched to social worker and counselor. Always wanted to be a teacher but not any more. |

hmm...I'd say a music teacher but I know you don't want to teach. You should make a list of what you like to do and don't like to do. I think I'm going to look into becoming a credit counselor (you know me, always worried about money, that way I could worry about someone else's too, LOL) |

Personally, I am going to go to a community college first and get in the basics before I commit to a career path. I want to be a forensic psychologist or just a psychologist, but who knows if that will change in 2 years time. I think if you don't know what you are going to do yet then community college would be good for you, plus it's a lot cheaper lol. |

When I was younger..and yes, even today- my dream is to be a published author- but circumstances being what they were, I went through a string of jobs, each successively slightly better than the last, until I eventually wound up in the career that I now have..which is an LPN in a skilled nursing facility..it *is* a rewarding job and pays well..but it's not my first choice |

Hey BoH, I was going to suggest that for Jen. You love music Jen, try to find something that you could incorporate your love for it. Maybe a choir master or something. |
