WHEN WILL YOU COME FOR TEA

Morning is here
And the sky is clear
I wished you were near
For some play

I get myself dressed
First time's just a test
Then I put on the rest
For the day

To the garden to take
Some herbs for to make
Special tea and cake
For your stay

But it's already noon
I've dressed up the room
With flowers that bloomed
In May

I sit in my chair
By the window there
And consciously stare
While I pray

When will you come for tea
From your long journey
I've made some for me
While you stray
