I had a paper due for English last Thursday. I didn't have a rough draft, because I was struggling with the paper, which didn't allow me enough time to make a draft before the finished product. Today, I got an email from my professor saying that since I didn't have a draft, I need to bring a flash drive with the saved paper on it. My problem is, I can't find it. I deleted the file off my flash drive,to make room for a paper for government on my drive, but I made sure to copy and save it onto the hard drive of my computer. So I read the email, and I freak, so I check my flash drive, the trash bin on my drive, my recycle bin on my computer, and ran a search through my whole computer, yet I still can't find it.
I don't know what to do, it's just so discouraging, knowing that I did the work, even without the draft, and now who knows if any of it is going to count thanks to this...
And yes, I know this is my fault, but it still sort of sucks. I'm wondering if it got deleted by accident by my mom or brother, because there are a lot of unused files on my computer.... idk..
