either way you want to put the question the answer is the same. A month "from" May 10th is 30 days from the tenth. If he is trying to say each month is only 30 days then that is 360 days a year, do you get your remaining five days free? |

Apparently he's including May 10th, which would then make 30 days June 8th. Personally I would say June 9th. |

Thanks guys. Well we're trying to negotiate a move out date...which is why the '30 days' (30 days notice). I was given notice the night of May 9th but it stated my official countdown started 'tomorrow' i.e. May 10th. We worked it out though...thankfully. He seen my point which is good cuz I was bout to go plum crazy... |

Most landlords around here go from the DATE of rent as to when the next month is due. If you rent the 10th of the month, your rent is due the 10th of each and every month. |

30 days *from* means you start with May 11 and count out 30 days or in other words: 9 June. 30 days *including* would be 8 June. cheers, |
