We lived with his mother for two years before finally being able to afford a place of our own and being young with hardly any credit rating at all it was quite stressful. We finally found a lender who would take a chance on us and it worked out. I hope this works out for you, your boyfriend and your pet. Hopefully you'll find a person willing to give you & yours that place you want. Sending encouraging thoughts your way! |

It seems like there are few paths offered for people who, even though they are making an honest effort, fell into a bad way financially. I've been there, and I hope things will turn around for you both very soon. Maybe Cameron could talk to the school loan people about some sort of emergency deferment for hardship? Maybe the companies you borrowed from would be the same, if you were willing to pay little by little? |

I have debts, too. I don't think I could afford to live on my own, which is something I would love to be able to do. But, I just can't afford it. So, I'm kinda in the same boat. I'll be praying that ya'll find a place. |

It sounds like you're working really hard to improve your lives. It'll work out. We've all had to start from the absolute bottom up, myself included. My husband and I are finally getting to a place where we would call ourselves "financially stable." We lived with his parents for 2 years so we could get back on our feet. We've now been back on our feet for nearly 2 years. It's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes, but if you keep working for it, you'll eventually get there. |

I think as long as you have a good rent history that is all they care about. I think they look at your credit to see if you have debt againt you for a place you rented before. |
